Grant Info - 2024 Request For Proposals
The Hawcreek Flat Rock Area Endowment is pleased to announce the availability of grant dollars for 2024.
Description: Funding is available to support community programs and projects, exclusively in the Hawcreek Flat Rock area, that have a significant impact for community residents.
Application Process: Organizations applying for funds must include the following information in their proposal:
- Name of the organization requesting funds
- Contact person
- Organization mission
- Description of the project
- Problem or need that will be addressed
- The population that will be served
- When the project will take place
- Total cost of the project
- Amount of funding requested
Projects in progress, individual class trips, individual sports team uniforms or sports equipment, or requests for individuals will not be considered. Proposed projects must satisfy the guidelines of Heritage Fund, as outlined in the attachment. All grant recipients will be required to complete a grant report upon completion of the project.

Selection Process: Proposals will be reviewed by the Hawcreek Flat Rock Area Endowment grants committee, which is composed of community members. Size and number of grants awarded will depend on the quality of proposals received. The committee reserves the right to decline funding any or all of the submissions.
Key Dates: Grant proposals must be postmarked by April 12, 2024. Recipients to be notified by end of May. Grant payments will be made after June 1, 2024.
